SWIMMING!!!!!!!

Yesterday I had a two-day swim meet. I was in the 50 free,100 free, 200 medley relay, 200 free relay, 25 back, 50 back, 25 fly, and 25 free. My favorite event was the 100 free. In the 50 free, my time of 37:83 qualified me for Divisionals. I won a rubber bracelet with bells on it, a ribbon, and a boomerang. I also won three 3rd place medals and three 2nd place medals. I am really looking forward to the swim meet in January - I will be moving up to the next age-group, though, so it will be challenge.

My Native American Party

Tomorrow is my Native American party. Over the course of three months, my classmates and I have each been studying a different tribe. The tribe I am studying the Chippewa tribe.I'm a member of the Chippewa tribe. They lived in what is now known as Michigan,Wisconsin,Wyoming, and Canada. They made pictographs by biting birch bark. Caroling

This weekend I went caroling.It was at a guy named Bob Woolford's house. It was really fun. Before that I went sledding at the same house. They have a really old sled but it went really fast. I really liked that part of the party. They had this really good ham, so I had three pices. I also saw a girl I knew from preschool. My brother lost his gloves. That was sad. All and all, spreading christmas cheer feels good.

The Festival of Lights.

The day after Thanksgiving I went to Cincinnati. We went to the zoo. They were holding the Festival of Lights. My favorite animal was the Sand Cat. It looks like a normal cat only it has a bigger face. We got two green double sided "light sabers". One for me and one for Aidan.



I also liked the " bug house". It had a long tunnel with ants going through it. That was my favorite part of the "bug house".

Thanksgiving

In three days, it's Thanksgiving. I am really looking forward to it. I really look forward to the turkey. My moms parents are coming tomorrow. I call them Pop and Do-Da. They both live in Florida. Pop is really good at fishing. Maybe he will bring some fish with him.



My mom's friend, Sue, just finished the Ironman in Arizona. That's the second time.

My swim meet

Yesterday I had a swim meet. It was in Columbus, Indiana. I swam the 25 fly, 25 back, 50 free, and 50 breast. My dad said my times were really good and that I could make it to divisionals. I got three that were 3rd place and one 4th place ribbon. In the beginning I was nervous, but then I cooled down. My favorite event was 50 free. I was pretty confident. I also went to see Madagascar 2 on Sunday. It was just as funny as the last one. It's really odd that
Melman was in love with Gloria. It's really odd that a penguin married a bobble head.

HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!

Last Friday was Halloween. I got lots of candy. I dressed up as Ben 10. Ben 10 is a cartoon network character. I went trick or treating with some of my dad's water polo players. That candy could last me a month! I hope it lasts me longer. I am sad because I did not get a lot of Crunch candy. I also had a sleepover at my friend Nicks house. It was his birthday.

Straight No Chaser

This weekend I went to see Straight No Chaser. Straight No Chaser is a men's a capella group. Thy were really good and funny. I got a CD singed by all of them. My dad was really jealous.
My favorite song was the 12 Days of Christmas. I had candy and soda. I went with my moms friend Sarah. We ate at Applebees before the show.We got second row seats! You can see my favorite song at the link below.

Moving 2008

The day before school started,we moved. It was very busy.I got to go have dinner with Nick. We went to la torre. Nick is one of my best frinends

My triathlon

I did a triathlon this summer. It was really cool. My favorite event was biking. I got really tired at the end. Here are some videos of me before and during the race.

I found a stinkpot turtle. We named him stinky . We found him on my neighbors drive way. He is small. He is really cool. He was black and orange.Then we took him to a pond. When we put him in

Washinton DC 2008

Today we got home from Washington DC.We went there for two nights. My favorite was the
air and space museum.We stayed at the Omni hotel. We saw the White House.I went to the capitol.

Florida 2008

This summer I went to Florida all by my self. I caught 12 fish (speckled trout, bluefish, catfish, etc) in one week. I went to the beach. I met Pop and Dooda`s new puppy, Te-bow (as in the Florida quarterback). I went swimming in Howard and Sandy`s pool. They all live in Destin, FL. On the way back I went to Big Bob Gibsons.

St Charles summer camp

I am in a summer camp at st charles school.I am doing a class called "galaxies beyond". My teacher is Miss.Busick . We learn about space. Today we made rocket ships. I want to learn about space-shuttles.

Baseball 2008

I play baseball on a team called Greene Acres. Greene Acres is the name of a cattle farm. I am a really good batter. The last game I played I caught my first fly-ball, too. Last year, I was on a team called Dr. Parmenter. Turns out, Dr. Parmenter owns Green Acres, so I have been on the same team two years in a row.

Stages 2008

This summer I am going to a camp called Stages. It is a camp that does theater stuff. I am doing a song from the movie Hairspray. I will also be doing a song from Mary Poppins. I even know how to do some miming. We will be doing a performance on June 20. ( I will post some pictures.)

Sanibel Island 2008

This summer I went to Sanibel Island. I went shelling and fishing. I caught my first fish. It was a catfish.I found a rare shell. Here is a picture of me, Aunt Bunny, and Nona with the "Alphabet Cone" shell.

I went to the shell museum.

I went to my grandma and aunt`s birthday party there. I went to the J.N. "Ding" Darling wildlife refuge.
